Transition time estimation for ?-function coupling in two state problem: An analytically solvable model

چکیده

• New method to calculate transition time in the two-state model. Coupling potential shows dual nature, opaque and transparent. Explicit dependency of on second state’s Greens function. The coupling strength incident energy. We propose a simple scattering problem, where two constant potentials are coupled by delta function V 12 = 21 k 0 ? ( x ) . exact analytical expression for ? is derived. notice explicitly depends energy along with strength. also observe from derived that depending initial energy, could behave like transparent or medium wave single state equivalent description.

Analytically solvable driven time-dependent two-level quantum systems.

Analytical solutions to the time-dependent Schrödinger equation describing a driven two-level system are invaluable to many areas of physics, but they are also extremely rare. Here, we present a simple algorithm that generates an unlimited number of exact analytical solutions. We show that a general single-axis driving term and its corresponding evolution operator are determined by a single rea...

Analytically solvable model in fractional kinetic theory.

In this article we give a general prescription for incorporating memory effects in phase space kinetic equation, and consider in particular the generalized "fractional" relaxation time model equation. We solve this for small-signal charge carriers undergoing scattering, trapping, and detrapping in a time-of-flight experimental arrangement in two ways: (i) approximately via the Chapman-Enskog sc...

An Analytically Solvable Model for Rapid Evolution of Modular Structure

Biological systems often display modularity, in the sense that they can be decomposed into nearly independent subsystems. Recent studies have suggested that modular structure can spontaneously emerge if goals (environments) change over time, such that each new goal shares the same set of sub-problems with previous goals. Such modularly varying goals can also dramatically speed up evolution, rel...

A Simple, Analytically Solvable, Chamberlinian Agglomeration Model

This paper presents a simple Chamberlinian agglomeration model which, like the canonical core-periphery (CP) model, contains two agglomerative forces. However, in contrast to that model, the present model is analytically solvable. Moreover, the present model exhibits a 'supercritical pitchfork bifurcation' rather than the 'subcritical pitchfork bifurcation' of the CP model. This may be a better...

Analytically Solvable Asymptotic Model of Atrial Excitability

We report a three-variable simplified model of excitation fronts in human atrial tissue. The model is derived by novel asymptotic techniques from the biophysically realistic model of Courtemanche et al. [11] in extension of our previous similar models. An iterative analytical solution of the model is presented which is in excellent quantitative agreement with the realistic model. It opens new p...
